Overwhelmed & Excited

This morning I am overwhelmed by the Lord, and excited about all that He has in store for His children in this season.  We are in a season of overflow - all it takes to step in is faith the size of a mustard seed.  I encourage everyone to stir up the gift within.

The inital gift is life itself.  Then the gift of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.  When we really ponder on Him, all that we have in Him, we can get overwhelmed to overflowing.

Be encouraged this week, find yourself in a bible study or church setting, expecting to hear from God.  Have a blessed week!

Anointed...

This was sent to me from a friend (a Holy Ghost connection for such a time as this - that iron sharpens iron).  I asked her permission to post it on the blog, so enjoy the flow of God through Darlana Harris:

Yall bare with me as I just feel like writing today.  I am just on FIRE for the Lord!  He is so marvelous.  I just thank Him for allowing me access to Him and His being and all He has and all He is!  I thank Him for opening doors that no man can open and closing doors that no man can shut.  I thank Him for allowing me the personal privilege to call Him "Abba Father".  I thank Him for being that intimate and personal whereas I can call Him, "DADDY".  Truly we are "Daddy's Girls".  He holds me when I'm lonely; rocks me when I'm afraid; clothes me when I'm naked; shelters me when I am cold; chastens me when I am bad; and then tattoos my face on the palm of His hand.  He stores my tears in His jar.  He loves on me and loves me when I feel no one else cares.  He rebuilds my self-esteem when I allow man to tear it down.  He fortifies me when danger is near for he is my: Prophet, Priest, Provider, and Protector.  He covers me for He gives His angels charge over me that my feet may not dash against a stone.  He's changed my name because I have wrestled with Him and He has said that YOU WILL NOT BE THE SAME.  How can we be the same when we enter in His presence?  How can we continue to do old things when He's doing a NEW thing within us?

How can we feel loveless and unloved when He said, I AM LOVE!!!  He told Moses, tell them that I AM sent you!  He is ALL that we need; you fill in the blank.  What is He to you today?  I AM __________?  I AM that I AM, need I say more?  Let me finish my story.  He loves me so much that He sent His only begotten son down to become sin and die for my sins and the sins of this world.  He died that I may live and have eternal life.  What kind of a God is that?  Can Buddha do that?  Can BAAL do that?  Can Allah do that?  He loved me so much that He forgave me for the times that I left Him.  You ever have someone to walk out on you and come back?  Isn't that how we do God?  We just take Him for granted and walk in and out; in and out of His life yet He loves us so much that He keeps taking us back.  It’s like the story of Hosea in the bible when God told him to marry the harlot and the harlot kept leaving and coming back with babies that weren't Hosea's but God said I am married to you as you are married to the harlot.  He used this marriage to tell his people that all though you sin against me, and are worshipping other idols; I still love you and I'll take you back!

Oh, how good it is to know someone is there and present with me through each and every situation I encounter.  How awesome is it that I can partake of His goodness and His benefits.  How awesome is it that I am grafted into the lineage of ROYALTY!! He said that we are a peculiar people, a royal priesthood.  I am because He says that I am!  Amen!  That is so comforting to know that He holds his Word above His name, but His name is also JEALOUS.  He will cast down anything that separates us from Jim.  He said, My name is jealous.  Nothing should come before our father.  NOTHING!!!!  He said, He will give you the desires of His heart as long as you walk upright before Him.  He said, if we seek His kingdom first and all of his righteousness then He will give us the desires of our heart.  Is that too hard?  I don't think so.

Are you in love with Jesus today?  Do you feel the outpouring of His spirit today?  Take a moment and just get quiet before Him and allow His very essence to resonate within you.  I hear Him say, Be still and see the salvation of the Lord.  Be still and know that I am God.  I am the Lord that HEALETH thee.  Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but I will trust in the Lord!!!  DO NOT GO THAT WAY AGAIN!  Reposition yourselves, line up with HIM!

In a Holding Pattern?

I was speaking with a friend this afternoon, and it reminded me of something I studied out a while ago.  Just want to chronicle it here & share with others.

God's wait - when God has you in a "wait" season of your life...because God carries the weights in the wait (the lay aside every weight) of it.  Wait from God is like being on an airplane, ready to land, but receiving a message that there is a delay.  Therefore, the airplane can not land, it has to stay in the air, in a holding pattern.  Whatever the reason for the delay, whether it is congestion at the airport, or bad weather, you still have to wait.  And the thing about airplanes, they purposely add extra fuel to take into consideration possible delays in the holding pattern.

It is so much easier to WAIT upon the Lord, when you have truly WEIGHTED upon the Lord - cast your cares and concerns that can weigh you down.  Or as the bible says, the sin that so easily entangles you...

Another point we saw about the holding pattern is that you are there, you are in the right place, but delays prolong the landing - and the holding pattern happens in the air, usually the unseen...

Just sharing something to provoke your thinking and help those in the WAIT process/season of life.

Praying for our loved ones...

I just wanted to post a word of encouragment to people who are praying for friends, family, and loved ones that appear to be going the opposite direction in which they know to go.  One of my mentors taught that we can pray and ask God to pull back the forces of darkness that are surrounding them long enough for them to make a conscious decision to choose life and God's way of doing things.  Pray that God would shine light into the dark areas in their life that they may be able to recognize, accept, and walk in the Truth of God.

We have been given power, dominion, and authority - but not over another person's free will.  So our prayer is that God would illuminate their mind/will/thoughts to recognize the Truth, not the lies of the enemy.  We ask God to remove the blinders that the god of this world continually places before people who have not truly learned who He is and who they are in Him.  We then pray to the Lord of the harvest that He would send a laborer across their path that would give a fit word in due season that brings repentance and restoration.  The re-dedicated soul is the goal - that God get the glory.

All I can say is Pray, PraY, PRAY!!! With out ceasing, at all times, from a place of understanding, in the spirit, just do it - pray.  Will you stand in the gap and intercede?  Supplicate? Pray...

Not ashamed...

Now is not the time to be ashamed of your testimony.  Revelation 12:11 says we overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony.  The enemy would love for you to keep quiet about what you have been delivered out of or come through, but prove him to be the liar that he is by telling HIS-tory in your life.

Let me let you in on a secret, the issues that you survive and overcome are simply indications of the anointing that you are called to walk in.  So don't be quiet about how good God has been to you - tell of the tests that have brought you to stand in this testimony.

Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of ALL of them!  Run tell that - tell of His deliverances over and over and over again - trial after trial after trial!  Be encouraged today. God loves you and I do to - I mean that for real.
